Sheep Dip is a distinguished blended malt consisting of over a dozen Scotch single malts, each matured for a minimum of five years in a variety of first-fill sherry, first-fill bourbon, and refill oak casks. The packaging boasts a nostalgic charm, though the depiction of the sheep on the bottle may be misleading, resembling an angry spaniel with horns. On the nose, it presents a fragrant aroma with coastal notes, tanginess, malt, honey, and toffee, maintaining a youthful essence. The palate is rich and warming, with a malty and youthful spirituous quality. The finish is punchy and tangy.
