Nikka Pure Malt Red

Pure Malt Red is a Japanese blended malt presented in an elegantly charming bottle. It comprises malt whisky from the renowned Nikka distilleries of Yoichi and Miyagikyo. The resulting whisky is fruity, creamy, buttery, and slightly herbal. Among the three Pure Malts, this one is known for its clean, fruity, and easy-going nature. The nose offers a clean, fruity aroma with a notable nutty quality, reminiscent of the American favourite, peanut butter and jelly on toast. On the palate, it exhibits great fruitiness, buttery smoothness, and cleanliness, accompanied by hints of cut herbs, sugar, and spice. The finish is commendable, displaying wonderful balance as it gracefully fades away on sweet, soft malt and fruit.
