Distilled in Barbados, this expression from Mount Gay was named after the 'double phenomenon' of a total solar eclipse and the passage of Halley's comet in 1910. The nose is full and rounded, offering notes of fresh flowers and honey, accompanied by a hint of vanilla and tropical fruit. On the palate, it is fruity and well-rounded, featuring nuances of banana, vanilla, smoke, toasty oak, and spice. The finish is long and spiced, with lingering toasty oak.
